About the role

  • This position instructs students in a range of subjects and courses across multiple levels and learning styles in the assigned emergency medical services curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • This includes developing and revising curriculum to maintain relevancy in the field and to assess student competencies as described in the curriculum.
  • Maintain consistent communication with students through office hours, email, and telephone.
  • Develop curriculum/lesson plans to maintain relevancy with the status of the field and accrediting body.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Academic Dean, Vice President or President

Requirements

  • Associate's degree.
  • Three full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in pre-hospital, emergency, or critical care settings.
  • The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • The successful candidate under U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations must be able to accept work in the U.S. by the day employment begins.

Compensation

  • Full-time faculty salaries are based on an evaluation of education and related experience after a job offer has been accepted and currently range from $44,144 - $99,016.
  • Please note, Initial Step placement is established by the MSCF contract in which sets salary limitations to what a new Faculty member is able to begin at.
  • This will differ from the maximum salary range in this posting.

  • Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
