About the role

This position is an active hands-on role requiring routine weekly travel, primarily within an assigned sales territory.

Build and maintain a solid and qualified pipeline, establishing professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer contacts at all levels in relevant departments such as purchasing, engineering, project management, quality assurance, senior leadership, etc.
Maintain involvement in execution of customer's project/order to ensure that all services and products are meet or exceed the contracted expectations and conditions by consistently collaborating with Operations, Billing, and other key departments
Collaborate with Inside Sales, Billing, and Branch and Area Managers on sales strategies and procedures
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Strong customer orientation with demonstrated experience developing strong partnerships by understanding and anticipating business needs of the customer and maintaining customer satisfactions
Proven ability to manage sales and profits against forecasts and targets
Must maintain a current, valid driver's license and a clean driving record, free of suspension or revocation, and willingness to travel at least 50%, mainly within assigned territory
Effectively convey the Company's focus on safety to employees and customers, and promote the company's network of companies' ability and commitment to deliver safe, high-quality, and on-time services

High school diploma or equivalent required
advanced degree preferred
Formal sales training preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales required, 3-5 years of experience strongly preferred, some experience in B2B outside sales.
Experience in construction, traffic control, infrastructure, or related industries strongly preferred
Strong written and oral presentation and communication skills in English, bilingual Spanish is a plus
