About the role

  • The Physician Assistant (PA) - Urology position is located at the Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, Virginia within the Department of Surgery.
  • The PA is responsible for providing continuity of patient care to VA beneficiaries.
  • Citizen of the United States [in accordance with section 7402(c) to title 38, United States Code (U.S.C.).

Responsibilities

  • The PA shall assist the Surgical Care Service Line to perform the requirements as specified in the Scope of Practice.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be proficient in spoken and written English to be appointed as authorized by 38 U.S.C. § 7403(f).
  • Master's degree in any discipline or a bachelor's degree in any discipline with one year of experience as a Physician Assistant ~AND~ Certification.

Compensation

  • $114k-$183k
