  • Job Description Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach 12 credit hours per semester (four sections) of undergraduate accountancy classes in the Fall 2026 and in the Spring 2027 semesters.

Requirements

  • Required: Doctorate in Accounting or closely related field by date of appointment for rank of Visiting Assistant Professor
  • Consideration may be given to candidates with demonstrated quality collegiate teaching experience and a proven ability to teach accounting content effectively.

Compensation

  • Salary will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience.
  • The Department of Accountancy currently has approximately 150 graduates per year, and consists of approximately 25 members included tenured/tenure-track faculty, teaching professors/lecturers, part-time instructors, and staff members.
  • The Farmer School of Business has approximately 1,200 graduates per year.
