Responsibilities
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings, may be necessary to support operational needs.
- Perform daily maintenance tasks to support facility operations, including repairs, fabrication work, special gallery installations, office remodels, and general equipment maintenance.
- Support the facilities team with scheduled maintenance activities, special projects, and installation tasks.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing various building systems and components.
- Maintain campus ponds, water features, and all related equipment to ensure proper operation and appearance.
- Escort external contractors while they perform work on or around the campus to ensure compliance with site protocols.
- Perform a variety of general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, installation, and repairs.
- Participate in cross-training within the Facilities department to provide support across various functions as needed.
Requirements
- The employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety protocols.
- The position requires effective verbal and written communication with others, good eye/hand coordination, and the ability to lift and transport up to 75 pounds.
- Help prepare for both internal and third-party inspections, ensuring areas meet required standards.
