About the role

AHRC NYC is looking to hire a Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS) for their Queens Adult Day Services program.

The BIS provides behavior support services, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment services as a member of departmental or inter-departmental interdisciplinary teams.
Implements and monitors effective behavioral data tracking systems.
Accurately and timely maintains appropriate service records for individuals supported to ensure quality intervention and regulatory compliance.
Performs all duties necessary to ensure compliance with relevant regulations governing service provision, including record keeping.

After completion of Functional Assessment, develops individualized behavior support plans and staff intervention plans following required format for content and quality.
Conducts other related tasks as needed or required.
Master's degree in a clinical or treatment field of psychology, along with documented training in assessment techniques and behavioral support plan development, required.
