About the role

  • Associate Site Reliability Engineer Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Site Reliability Engineer to join the Air Dominance Site Reliability Engineering team located in Berkeley, MO.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operation of GitLab, GitLab CI/CD runners, Jira, Confluence, PostgreSQL, and related developer tooling infrastructure
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of software development technologies, including build servers, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
  • Triage and resolve routine service requests, access issues, pipeline infrastructure issues, and platform support tickets
  • Help maintain operational runbooks, troubleshooting guides, architecture notes, and standard operating procedures
  • Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Ansible, and other scripts and automation to simplify infrastructure administration and software deployment under the guidance of more senior engineers
  • Support software development tool administration, maintenance, version upgrades, patch management, and integration between tools such as Jira, GitLab, Artifactory, Confluence, and SonarQube

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
  • 2+ years of experience with software development and/or troubleshooting software
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Assist with incident response during primary support hours and participate in after-hours support when required by mission need

Nice to have

  • Linux system administration, software development, DevOps, DevSecOps, IT operations, or related technical work
  • Experience or coursework with Python, Java, C#, C++, or similar programming or scripting languages
  • Experience or coursework with Agile software development
  • Experience using or supporting source control, issue tracking, documentation, or CI/CD tools
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and communicate technical status clearly
  • Experience with GitLab administration, GitLab CI/CD, GitLab runners, or similar source control and CI/CD platforms
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other Atlassian administration and support activities
  • Experience with PostgreSQL administration, SQL troubleshooting, backups, or restore procedures

Compensation

  • $99,450 - $134,550
