About the role
- A successful member of this team will understand and execute modifications and upgrades for the Airborne Surveillance Command and Control (ASC2) program.
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.

Responsibilities
- Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment
- Performs detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations
- Performs spatial integration at system or component level and modification of mechanisms/landing gear/ordinance systems
- Assists in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systems
- Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design
- Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups
- Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
- Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals
- Supports system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
- 1+ years of experience working in aerospace, defense, or similar high-tech industry
- Practical experience and knowledge of Environmental Control Systems (ECS)
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design and analysis
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Nice to have
- Active U.S. Secret Clearance
- FORTRAN or Sinda Fluent experience
- Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) or Finite Difference Thermal Analysis
- Environmental Control Systems (ECS) testing experience
- and Certification experience with FAA or EASA
- Experience with analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation and documentation skills
Compensation
- Associate Level (Lvl 2): $79,050 - 106,950
- Experienced Level (Lvl 3): $96,050 - $129,950
