  • This includes the implementation of capital and reliability projects to allow for the safe, responsible, and efficient production of both Thermoplastic Polyurethane and Polycarbonate films.

Responsibilities

  • Manages mid-level safety related projects and actively participates on site safety teams
  • Routinely leads small and medium level site capital projects on time and within budget, participates in large site improvement projects.
  • Provides necessary engineering support to complex capital and continual improvement projects across the site
  • Provides technical support to the production and maintenance teams in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Develops and utilizes root cause analysis techniques to identify issues with processing equipment or reliability problems.
  • Provides day-to-day support of production for troubleshooting during start -up of new equipment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree and at least 2 years in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree and at least 6 years in a manufacturing or engineering environment OR

Nice to have

  • CAD, Project, SAP desirable
  • 6+ years in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Advanced Degree Desirable but not required
  • Professional registrations and/or certifications are desirable
  • Theromoplastic film extrusion and web handling
  • Prior p roject management of var ious size and scope projects
  • Microsoft Office products

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is between $89,500 - $127,800.
  • Capable of using the tools for managing site annual capital budget and participates in longer term planning.
