About the role
- Sentara Norfolk General Hospital located in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neuroscience ICU
- The Neuroscience Critical Care Unit is a specialized unit providing intensive care for patients with severe, life-threatening neurological conditions, such as strokes, brain hemorrhages, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, tumors, and seizures.
Responsibilities
- Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
- Registered nursing License (Required)
- BLS required within 90 days of hire
- The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
- Candidates with critical care or a minimum of 1 year stepdown or med/surg experience will be considered.
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year emergency, intermediate care, intensive care or med/surg highly preferred
Compensation
