Responsibilities

  • Schedule and manage demanding calendars, including internal and external meetings with employees, vendors, and clients.
  • Act as a collaborator in key meetings, contributing to discussions and follow-up actions, with the support and guidance of the executive
  • Support and help coordinate in-person cultural programming and connection moments for the G&A team and broader employee base in San Francisco, helping foster community and belonging at the hub level
  • Coordinate logistics and support for new G&A leadership team members, ensuring a smooth and well-organized start
  • Participate in in-person Nextdoor events such as trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and team building exercises
  • Build in-person relationships with team members and contribute to Nextdoor's company culture

Requirements

  • You must be organized, proactive, and comfortable handling a wide range of priorities with discretion and follow-through.

  • The ideal candidate for this role is a highly organized self-starter with an optimistic can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for Nextdoor's mission.
  • You are energized by operational complexity, curious about how AI can make teams more effective, and motivated to remove friction so others can do their best work.
  • Manage sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
  • 3+ years of experience in a scheduling, coordination, or administrative support role, preferably in a fast-paced tech environment and/or the ability to perform at an advanced level in the domain
  • Experience supporting senior or executive-level leaders with a high degree of discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Google Productivity Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Slides, Sheets); experience with Coda and Workday is a plus

Compensation

  • The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $87,000 to $139,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role.
  • The salary range will be determined by the candidate's geographic location.
