About the role
- As a User Interface Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the digital landscapes of our film and television productions.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed and visually compelling UI designs for operating systems, applications, and web pages.
- Design mockups for phones, tablets, and computers inside film and television productions.
- Ensure that UI designs align with the overall visual style and narrative of the production.
- Animate UI designs to address scripted beats.
- Translate notes, references, and feedback into stronger production-ready design work.
- You'll collaborate with a company at the forefront of digital production.
- You'll work on real screen graphics that live inside film and television stories, where your design choices help shape what audiences see.
- If you have a strong natural eye for UI design, care about story, and want to grow under mentorship while contributing to real productions, we would like to see your work.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI design skills and an understanding of visual storytelling.
- Strong graphic design and typography skills.
Requirements
- You are coachable, curious, and serious about getting better quickly.
- You can take direct feedback without defensiveness and turn it into better work.
- You have the instincts of an A-player: accountable, resourceful, reliable, and committed to raising the standard around you.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- Experience with film, television, games, title work, or narrative screen graphics.
Nice to have
- care about stunning visuals, readability, typography, and story
- not just UX theory.
- Any existing experience with those tools is a massive plus.
