Responsibilities

  • As a Veterinary Assistant on our Surgery & Anesthesia team, you will work closely with veterinarians and technicians to support surgical procedures and ensure exceptional patient care throughout the perioperative process.

Requirements

  • Enjoy work-life balance with a consistent weekday schedule - no weekends required!
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. All current positions require the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
  • Additional fluency in other languages is preferred but not required.

Nice to have

  • At least 1 year of veterinary experience preferred
  • Interest in surgery and anesthesia patient care
  • Ability to take direction and work in a fast-paced environment

Skills

  • Perform medical math calculations
  • Assist with anesthesia monitoring
  • Administer medications
  • Place IV catheters and obtain blood samples
  • Provide advanced nursing care to surgical patients
