About the role
- The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing parts, completing preventative maintenance, and performing moderate repairs on a variety of mobile and heavy equipment.
- The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, safety-conscious, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on the following equipment: LP Forklifts (5), Skid steers (4), Wheel Loader (1), Excavator (1), Scissor Lifts (3), and Boom lift (1)
- Maintain service records and repair documentation
- Maintains good working relationship with vendors
Requirements
- Proven experience repairing and maintaining mobile or heavy equipment
- Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues efficiently
- Experience sourcing parts and managing repair needs
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with construction, industrial, or fleet equipment
- Source and order required parts and components for repairs and maintenance
