About the role

Are you the type of technically minded person who enjoys working with your hands to fix or repair equipment?

Perform and accurately record scheduled preventative maintenance procedures on a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, hoists, paint systems, machining centers, and weld systems.
Perform basic maintenance functions of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical equipment in partnership, with, or under the guidance of managers or senior/experienced maintenance technicians in assigned maintenance systems, while adhering to safety protocols as an Authorized Lockout/Tagout Team Member and, when applicable, as an Electrically Qualified Team Member.
Perform basic Microsoft Office skills.

Ability to operate or learn to operate hand and power tools, volt meters, read blueprints and electrical schematics, write intra-departmental communication, and apply concepts of basic math.
Ability to utilize Thrive, obtain LO/TO authorization, and become certified as an Electrically Qualified team member.

or associate's degree in basic trades preferred
experience working within Vermeer manufacturing, preferred.
High School Diploma/ HiSet and a minimum of two years of basic trades (maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or electrical systems)/manufacturing experience

or equivalent combination of education/experience required
