About the role

  • This is a foundational hire: you'll be given wide technical latitude and trusted to help shape our DevOps culture, tooling, and long-term approach to reliability and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Github CI/CD pipelines to accelerate developer velocity and minimize deployment risk.
  • Architect and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS) for high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with software and hardware teams to support test infrastructure, simulation environments, and production deployments.
  • Lead the implementation of best practices in infrastructure security and cost optimization.
  • Establish incident response protocols and support root cause analysis.
  • You'll design, implement, and maintain the systems and tooling that keep our software lifecycle secure, scalable, and fast.

  • The Role We're hiring our first DevOps Engineer to build and own the infrastructure layer that powers everything we do - from developer velocity to production uptime.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.
  • Exposure to embedded systems build pipelines or cross-compilation toolchains.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE role.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Familiarity with system observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
  • Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE role.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting production systems in a defense, robotics, or hardware-adjacent environment.
  • Knowledge of airgapped or secure deployment environments.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g. FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, or CMMC).
  • Experience in infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation).
