About the role
- This role is responsible for monitoring of multiple transport, data, voice, wireless and environmental systems and reacting to alarms and internal and external calls.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates major incident resolution and coordinates support staff
- Performs equipment testing and vendor support management activities.
Requirements
- Must have successfully passed CISCO Certified
- CCNA is currently inactive, must be willing to obtain within 6 months
- Must have successfully passed CISCO Certified - CCNA exam
- If CISCO Certified - CCNA is currently inactive, must be willing to obtain within 6 months
- This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
- Associates degree in Information Technology
- In lieu of Associates degree(s) listed above, High School/GED AND 2 year(s) related work experience
- Proficient using Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Understanding of a broad variety of telecommunications technologies including fiber optic transport, data network, microwave networks, 800 MHz radio systems, paging systems, PBX's and others.
