About the role

Requirements

  • Applicants must have one-year specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.
  • Therefore, technician experience is experience that required application of the knowledge, methods, and techniques of the position to be filled.
  • Experience in preparing medications for Pharmacist review and placing automated medication orders.
  • Experience in reporting and recording adverse medication reactions.
  • Experience in administering medications (i.e. sublingual, buccal, eye, ear, nasal, topical, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous).
  • Evidence of program completion is required.
