Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience with machine-operated trenching tools.
- Ability to pass drug and background screenings.

- 0-2 years 15 days
- 3-5 years 23 days
- 6-9 years 27 days
- 10-14 years 30 days
- 15-19 years 33 days
- Eligible after 1 year of service, must be taken within the calendar year.
Skills
- Knowledge of OSHA Construction Industry Safety Regulations.
- Ability to work proficiently with hand and power tools needed for pipelaying.
- Ability to safely utilize tools and equipment in the performance of duties.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal.
- Ability to actively listen and follow instructions.
- Ability to work productively under pressure and pay attention to the details of the specific project.
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.
- Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends and holidays as necessary for project scope and meeting deadlines.
- Grade trenches to install pipe.
- Rig slings for installing pipe.
