About the role
- McKee Foods is seeking a 1st Shift Utilities/Waste Treatment Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team.
- Ensure that predictive and preventative maintenance programs are developed, monitored, and improved
- Monitor, analyze and use new technologies/ideas to reduce energy costs/use (water, steam, electricity, compressed air and other utilities identified)
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and support for all dimensions of the Utilities and Waste Treatment operations
- Develop written operating procedures for Utilities and Waste Treatment processes regulatory requirements
- Support and implement Manufacturing to a Standard
- Maintain and oversee Maintenance contracts and contractors
- Support environmental compliance through effective management of work practices and procedures that meet regulatory standards
Requirements
- Ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Attend training classes / seminars as required
- Must be willing to work other shifts when necessary
Nice to have
- Previous supervisory and/or management experience
- Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance experience
- Mechanical background in various types of waste water, steam boiler, air handler and process chiller equipment
- Preventive maintenance experience
- Industrial electrical knowledge
- Production maintenance experience
- Planning and scheduling with CMMS software
- Waste Water training
Compensation
- $87,500 - $99,800/ year, depending on experience and qualifications.
