About the role
- Pyrotek is the most successful global industrial company you've never heard of (until now).
- Pyrotek is a global leader in high temperature materials and our products impact virtually everyone in the developed world.
- Assist with and become cross-trained on tasks assigned to higher-level Specialty Graphite Operators, with the goal of progressing to a higher-level Specialty Graphite Operator.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties (e.g., manual sweeping, vacuuming, floor sweeper/scrubber) throughout the plant.
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
Requirements
- Accurately complete all inspection and inventory forms as required, utilizing measuring devices such tape measures and micrometers
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow work instructions.
- Ability to safely and effectively use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to use calipers.
- Ability to read a tape measure, both metric and standard.
- The following physical activities described here are representative of those required by a Team Member to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
- Ability to lift up to 65 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently.
Nice to have
- Previous manufacturing experience, a plus.

- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location.

- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED), required.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- The minimum and maximum hourly range for this full-time position is $19.05 - $22.50 + benefits.
- Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
