About the role

  • The consultant will identify opportunities where AI can automate administrative burdens, personalize donor journeys, and enhance program outcomes through responsible AI adoption.
  • In a sector built on trust, the role will also serve as the primary guardian of Ethical AI, ensuring all tools comply with Canadian privacy laws (including PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25, Alberta and BC's PIPA) and any emerging AI regulations.
  • You'll be the pragmatic bridge between AI capability and real organizational impact

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly prototype and pilot AI solutions to validate value, assess feasibility and reduce scaling risk.
  • Collaborate with IT and Data teams to ensure proposed AI solutions are compatible with existing data infrastructure, security standards, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Build business cases and establish KPIs (cost savings, time reclaimed, revenue uplift, engagement metrics)
  • Use project management tools and governance processes to deliver pilots and scale successful initiatives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in management consulting, digital transformation, program delivery, or enterprise change roles with proven experience leading AI-driven organizational change.
  • Hands-on track record selecting and implementing commercial AI tools (marketing automation AI, RAG/LLM platforms, agentic/workflow solutions)

Nice to have

  • MBA or master's in a quantitative field

  • Strong project and vendor management skills; familiar with common PM tools and delivery frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and change-management skills; able to "de-jargonize" AI for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Facilitate opportunity discovery workshops with business units to surface unmet needs, process inefficiencies, and use-case backlog.

Compensation

  • The annual salary range for this role is $135,000 - 145,000.
