About the role

  • Reporting to the Director of CEMS, the Regional CEMS Coordinator serves as the technical and compliance authority for Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) across multiple Reworld TTF facilities.
  • This is a high-visibility, mission-critical role responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and regulatory defensibility of emissions monitoring data.

Responsibilities

  • Review and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize CEMS reliability and data availability.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate spare parts inventories for all CEMS components across assigned facilities.
  • Promptly notify the CEMS/Testing Department of any issues that could impact system accuracy, data availability, or the ability to perform scheduled audits or regulatory testing.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action development for significant CEMS events.
  • Reworld may sometimes selectively collaborate with staffing agencies and search firms (Agencies).
  • Reworld partners with businesses by offering cutting-edge engineering and innovative solutions, to help customers reduce, reuse, recycle and recover value from waste streams and meet or exceed their sustainability goals.

Nice to have

  • Provide regional oversight of QA/QC activities for all CEMS and associated Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) within the assigned region.
  • Periodically review site QA/QC practices and records to verify consistency and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure audit readiness through pre-test inspections, QA maintenance, corrective actions, and documentation review.
  • Coordinate updates to routine and preventive maintenance procedures as needed.
  • Coordinate and oversee all changes, upgrades, or modifications to CEMS hardware, software, and DAS configurations.
  • Ensure all system changes are properly documented, reviewed for regulatory impact, and implemented in compliance with applicable requirements and internal policies.
  • Verify that no unauthorized system modifications have occurred during periodic site inspections.
  • Confirm ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and Reworld standards.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of CEMS regulations, QA/QC requirements, and audit processes.
  • Experience with DAS validation, emissions data review, and documentation practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data review and analysis.

  • The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $105,200.00 - $139,900.00 CAD per annum

Compensation

  • $105,200.00 - $139,900.00 CAD per annum
