About the role
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Assists in the repair of fire alarm equipment on campus.
- Ensures fire alarm and fire protection systems code compliance - Assists in testing and service of fire protection and fire alarm systems on campus.
- Mentors less experienced staff and reviews or delegates work.
Requirements
- Knowledge of fire alarm equipment and Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP)
- Knowledge of basic office computer software such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to use meters to measure volts, amps, ohms, along with tools associated with electronic repairs
- Associate's degree in related field
- 6 years of relevant experience
- This will be required to ensure your application is processed in a timely manner.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
- The successful candidate will be required to drive on occasion and must, upon hire, immediately enroll in the New York State License Event Notification Service (NYS LENS) program.
Compensation
- In compliance with NYS's Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is listed above.
