About the role
- This position is responsible for leading strategic governance initiatives focused on GIS inventory management, workforce role and skills standardization, data lifecycle governance, and enterprise-wide special projects.

Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with GIS principles, data management, and enterprise GIS environments.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with data governance concepts including stewardship, lifecycle management, metadata, and data quality.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing complex projects, engaging stakeholders, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in research, analytical thinking, workflow documentation, and process design.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience preparing governance documentation and communicating technical information to nontechnical audiences.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Esri technologies, enterprise geodatabases, and spatial data services.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
- The ideal candidate will bring strong governance experience and a proven ability to improve organizational GIS data quality, consistency, and governance maturity across multiple business units.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting geospatial governance or enterprise data governance programs.
- Familiarity with transportation-related data domains.
- Compensation This is a 1099 Contract role.
- Physically reside within the United States for the duration of the assignment.
