About the role
- Reporting to the Head of Collectibles for eBay Canada, this position involves driving the collectibles vertical strategy for Trading Cards (Sports & TCG), and Cross Collectibles (X- Collectibles - Toys, Comics, Coins ) under the broader Collectibles business.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute tactics and plans to build the business
- Monitor key performance metrics (pricing, inventory, discoverability, customer happiness, gross merchandise volume, etc.) and react to drive business
- Lead all aspects of performance and business planning for top sellers, buyers, and 3rd party partners
- Develop solutions to identify new businesses, build a strong pipeline and help with onboarding
- Drive strategic product, policy, communications, business development, marketing, and inventory initiatives in a holistic manner to improve buyer & seller happiness
- Develop and execute initiatives to fundamentally improve the user experience for our buyers and sellers
Requirements
- 5 years of relevant experience with growing responsibility in Merchandising, Buying, Category Management/Account Management in an online retail or marketplace environment

Skills
- Prior e xperience within the Collectibles industry (Comics, stamps, etc.,) is an asset
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills; French fluency desirable
- Strong attention to detail with the sense of responsibility for the flawless execution of assigned tasks
- Expert in MS-Excel and fluency with MS-Office and SQL
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience in buying and selling on eBay an asset

- The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
- C$85,600 - C$114,300
- Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.

- The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
