About the role

  • The Azure DevOps Engineer II will play a critical role in enhancing the speed of delivery, improving the quality and security of code, and optimizing development processes.
  • The role also includes managing infrastructure-as-code deployment tooling, supporting services across multiple cloud providers, and maintaining metrics and logging systems.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Tech Leads and developers to assess existing problems and propose process improvement solutions.
  • Build coding standardizations and automate processes for the organization.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of platform configuration management and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to deliver consistent and holistic solutions to the organization.
  • This position involves identifying bottlenecks in development and delivery processes, collaborating with team members to implement improvements, and enhancing the overall developer experience.

Requirements

  • Experience with high-scale cloud architectures using modern, cloud-based container platforms (PaaS/SaaS).
  • Working knowledge of deployment automation solutions (e.g., Terraform, Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and cluster management tools like Kubernetes.
  • Experience with containers such as Docker and OpenShift.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git, and Sonar.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to process complex information quickly and present it clearly.

Nice to have

  • Experience as a DevOps or SRE Engineer on a cross-functional agile team is preferred.
