About the role
- Research complex issues arising from new business activity and legislative developments.
- Participate in the professional trade tax committees and working groups.
- You will report to the Corporate Tax Senior Manager.
Responsibilities
- Identify and lead process improvement department projects based on best practices.
- Assist departmental leadership in working with industry tax committees to determine the impacts of proposed changes on the industry and supports industry efforts to improve legislation or regulation.
- Provide training to tax staff and develop ongoing internal and external relationships and information pipelines to be on leading edge of company and industry developments.
- Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.
Requirements
- Experience with GAAP and Statutory accounting.
Nice to have
- CPA license preferred.
- 5+ years of experience preferred.
- Experience working in the insurance industry preferred.
Compensation
- $88,000.00 - $145,000.00
- Pay Rate Type:
- Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location.
