About the role

  • Furtado is a leading consulting engineering, land surveying and construction management firm in Seattle, WA.
  • Our office currently has an opportunity for a professional and experienced individual to fill the role of Sr.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join an established and dynamic organization that is experiencing significant growth.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project documentation and files.
  • Establish and maintain excellent client relations.
  • Plan, manage and execute multiple projects concurrently.
  • Manage deadlines to ensure that a high-quality deliverable is produced on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience managing land surveying projects for public sector clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills together with a proven track record of working effectively with internal teams and external clients.
  • Experience working successfully to meet deadlines, able to handle multiple tasks and efficiently respond to changing client priorities.
  • Experience dealing directly with clients and formal management of projects.
  • Experience with right-of-way plans and legal description preparation desired.
  • Required Certifications:
  • Proficient in calculation of right-of-way and parcel boundaries.

Nice to have

  • 10 or more years of experience in land surveying and mapping projects preferred, also in engineering projects desired.
  • Proficient in use of Bluebeam or Adobe PDF editing, use of spreadsheets, use of Google Earth KMZ files or equivalent, CAD drafting experience preferred.
