About the role
- We are seeking a mechanically strong field technician with proven hands-on troubleshooting experience on engines and industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoot diesel engine, electrical systems and pump problems.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and servicing as directed on pumps/fleet equipment between each rental.
- Perform an initial inspection of pump fleet equipment for possible damages; diagnose damages; report damages to Service Manager.
- Perform preventative maintenance on Company vehicles and shop support equipment.
- Perform diagnostic checks using computer technology.

Requirements
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Nice to have
- Direct pump experience is preferred but not required
- we will train on pump systems and electrical specifics.
- Preferred backgrounds include automotive or diesel mechanics who want to transition into pump and field service work.
- Commercial Driver License B - Preferred
Skills
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to obtain DOT Medical card
- Commercial Driver License B

- Diagnosing basic mechanical problems
- Thorough understanding of the methods, materials, tools and techniques used in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Basic understanding of pump station electrical controls and monitoring devices
- Safety practices and procedures
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision; self-motivated and self-directed.
- Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues--preferred.
Compensation
- The estimated salary range for this position starts at $33/hour- $36/hour.
