Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
- Design, build, and support full stack solutions with strong backend services and responsive front-end interfaces using Angular 8 or above
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product teams, and fellow engineers to deliver intuitive, user-centered application experiences
- Build and integrate scalable messaging and event-driven solutions using Kafka, JMS, and related integration frameworks
- Design and optimize queries for Oracle, SQL, and NoSQL data stores based on application and performance requirements
- Implement and support enterprise search solutions using Solr and/or OpenSearch
- Create reusable, secure, and high-performing APIs and services for internal and external system integrations
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate engineering quality
- Support best practices in software development, including clean code, testing, documentation, and version control
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
Requirements
- The employee is regularly required to operate a computer, keyboard, telephone/headset, and/or other office equipment as essential functions of this position.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8, Spring Boot, and REST API development
- Solid experience with messaging and integration technologies such as Kafka, JMS, and related event-driven patterns
- Hands-on experience with Cassandra or MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns
- As part of the hiring process, candidates may be required to undergo background screening and identity verification, where permitted by applicable law and consistent with the requirements of the role.
Nice to have
- Experience with Agile delivery methods and modern software development lifecycle practices preferred
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated testing practices is a plus
Compensation
- The base salary for this position is $92,250 to $101,500 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance.
