Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned FAA project support activities, including planning, execution coordination, schedule tracking, budget monitoring, risk management, reporting, and closeout support.
  • Coordinate with FAA stakeholders, Parsons program leadership, engineering teams, implementation teams, site personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and project support staff to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, forecasts, staffing needs, deliverables, action items, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Support scope development, scope management, and execution planning for assigned project activities.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project management plans, meeting minutes, action item logs, status reports, risk registers, budget inputs, project briefings, and closeout materials.
  • Chair project meetings, coordinate stakeholder communications, document decisions, and follow up on open actions to maintain project momentum.
  • Coordinate cross-functional support for FAA facility activities, including engineering reviews, site readiness, logistics, implementation planning, testing support, operational coordination, and final project deliverables.
  • Assist Program Management with project forecasting, labor planning, ODC tracking, budget reviews, invoicing support, and project financial performance.
  • Identify potential cost, schedule, scope, or execution challenges and work with team members and leadership to develop corrective action plans.
  • Support change management activities, including identification of scope changes, schedule impacts, cost impacts, and customer coordination requirements.

Requirements

  • Work includes site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, drafting, contract surveillance, and other technical services as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, project management, aviation, information systems, or a related technical field.
  • Experience managing small to medium-sized projects or project elements involving scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, staffing, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience preparing project reports, executive briefings, meeting materials, action item logs, schedules, budget inputs, and formal presentations using Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint and Excel.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of project controls, project documentation, quality processes, safety requirements, and customer reporting expectations.
  • Ability to meet Parsons' project management certification requirements.
  • Must be able to meet customer security requirements. A background check by federal authorities will be completed.
  • Experience supporting FAA, aviation, transportation, defense, or other mission-critical infrastructure or technology programs.
  • Experience supporting TFDM, E-IDS, IPVCS, or similar FAA/NAS modernization, implementation, integration, or sustainment efforts.
  • Experience managing geographically dispersed work across multiple FAA regions, facilities, or field locations.
  • PMP, PgMP, CMAA, or similar project management certification preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of FAA safety, security, quality, operational, and documentation requirements preferred.

Compensation

  • $125,100.00 - $225,200.00
