About the role
- Flexible to meet the needs of the library.
- This position is for evening coverage, approximately 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Sundays and weeknights during the Fall and Spring semesters.
- Provide reference assistance, including consultation, to students and faculty.
Nice to have
- Required Master's Degree or undergraduate degree in another discipline, preferably one related to one of the College's programs.
- Preferred Coursework in teaching methodology.
- Preferred EXPERIENCE One (1) year of multifaceted full-time librarian experience preferably in an academic setting or completed MLS/MLIS coursework in Reference services at an ALA-accredited institution.
- Required Experience with electronic resources and services.
- Required Experience providing reference.
- Required Teaching experience, preferably including library instruction.
- Preferred Experience working in an archive and/or special collection setting.
- Preferred ABILITIES AND SKILLS Sensitivity to the needs and expectations of students, faculty, and staff.
