Responsibilities
- Performs tasks safely.
- Performs Unit Secretary duties for the unit.
- May check and document medication storage temperatures in accordance with hospital policy.
- Maintains medication room security and fully understands and complies with ensuring proper security of medications in accordance with hospital policy.
- May perform phlebotomy duties if certified.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must keep all required certifications current.
- License /Certification
- Required:
- Current CA Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- HeartSaver AED
- Kaweah Health approved crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire/transfer.
- Essential
- Reports any variance in the patient's condition, to licensed staff. Reports specific patient or family needs, concerns, and changes in activity to licensed staff.
- Refers complaints and problems to licensed staff or department manager immediately.
- Answers patient call lights within two minutes as assigned.
- Greets patient and family members in friendly professional manner. Identifies self by name and job category. As assigned, assists patient with their needs.
Compensation
- $20.38 -$30.57
