  • Interim Plumbing Inspector:
  • o High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of practical and verifiable installation experience in commercial plumbing o Interim Plumbing Inspector Certificate issued from the Ohio Board of Building Standards o Successfully complete and pass the examination modules required by the Ohio Board of Building Standards for Plumbing o Inspector within 1-year of employment by Franklin County Public Health as an Ohio Board of Building Standards certified Interim o Plumbing Inspector o Valid Ohio driver's license and ability to meet insurability requirements.
  • Plumbing Inspector I:
  • o High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years of practical and verifiable installation experience in commercial plumbing o Plumbing Inspector Certificate issued from the Ohio Board of Building Standards o Plumbing Plans Examiner Certificate issued from the Ohio Board of Building Standards and/or ASSE 6020 Medical Gas Inspector Certification is preferred o Valid Ohio driver's license and ability to meet insurability requirements.
  • Plumbing Inspector II:
  • o High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years of practical and verifiable installation experience in commercial plumbing o Plumbing Inspector Certificate issued from the Ohio Board of Building Standards o At least 3 years' experience as a plumbing inspector I with an Ohio Board of Building Standards Plans Examiner Certification o 3-5 years' experience as a plumbing inspector with an Ohio Board of Building Standards Plans Examiner Certification o Plumbing Plans Examiner Certificate issued from the Ohio Board of Building Standards
  • ASSE 6020 Medical Gas Inspector Certification o Valid Ohio driver's license and ability to meet insurability requirements.
  • Interim Plumbing Inspector: $25.78/hour - $29.65/hour. This is a non-exempt position.
  • Plumbing Inspector I: $28.38/hour - $33.35/hour. This is a non-exempt position.
  • Plumbing Inspector II: $30.24/hour - $35.53/hour. This is a non-exempt position.
