About the role
- We empower personal injury lawyers and victims to get the justice they deserve.
- This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of being in our Toronto office three days per week.

Responsibilities
- Frontend Systems Development: Design, develop, and optimize cutting-edge frontend systems that support growth-focused initiatives, ensuring speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to interpret growth and experimentation requirements and deliver seamless user experiences.
- Component & Framework Ownership: Lead the development of frontend frameworks, libraries, and reusable UI components that enable controlled experiments, feature rollouts, and measurable business impact.
- Complex Problem Solving: Collaborate with engineers to solve challenging problems in UI/UX, performance optimization, state management, and integrations with backend and AI/ML services.
- Team Growth & Culture: Help build and reinforce the engineering culture in Toronto by sharing best practices, mentoring teammates, and maintaining a high bar for quality in a fast-paced environment.
- End-to-End Ownership: Own projects from inception through production deployment, ensuring alignment with frontend best practices, performance, accessibility, reliability, and security.
- Proven experience building scalable, performant, and reliable frontend systems and interfaces in high-performance environments.
- Familiarity with web performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Build and evolve scalable, user-centric frontend systems and interfaces that drive growth initiatives across the platform.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Engineering to translate growth and product needs into high-quality user experiences.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in frontend engineering with a strong understanding of modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and the ability to write clean, maintainable, production-quality code.
- Experience thriving in startup or high-growth environments.
- Experience with frontend tooling, build systems, and cloud-based deployments (e.g., AWS, Vercel, Netlify).
Nice to have
- Experience on growth-focused or experimentation-driven teams.
- Exposure to AI/ML-powered frontend features, real-time data visualization, or highly interactive web applications.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, analytics integrations, or experimentation platforms.
- Prior experience scaling frontend systems in rapidly growing startups.
