About the role
- You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MARINE TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST in the NAVY COMPONENT COMMAND, UNITED STATES TRANSPORTATION COMMAND (USTRANSCOM), OPERATIONS & PLANS DIRECTORATE of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
- Specialized Experience (for positions above GS-5): For Marine Transportation positions, experience in: Planning, directing, and supervising cargo or bulk petroleum movements such as: Embarkation and debarkation, cargo loading and discharge.
Requirements
- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Experience planning, conducting or evaluating long-range studies for the solution of programs related to national maritime policy
- Experience utilizing the Defense Readiness Reporting System to view or report ships readiness
- Experience utilizing a Civilian Personnel Data System (e.g. DCPDS) in order to enter or approve civilian personnel actions
- Experience applying Department of Defense security policies and procedures for units ashore and afloat.
Compensation
- $150k-$195k
