About the role

  • TRP has a current vacancy for a Electrical Technical Coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and review electrical design drawings, specifications, and submittals to confirm they meet project requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to site teams throughout construction and commissioning.
  • Work with design consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to address design questions and resolve installation challenges.
  • Perform site inspections to ensure electrical installations meet quality and safety expectations.
  • Support commissioning efforts, including testing and validating electrical systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of as-built drawings, technical data, and inspection documentation.
  • Collaborate with other technical disciplines to support a coordinated and integrated project delivery.
  • The Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) package encompasses the design, construction, integration, and commissioning of key project components.
  • This role will work closely with project management, design, and construction teams to ensure technical accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
  • The successful candidate will play a key part in coordinating electrical design reviews, managing installation activities, and supporting integration and commissioning efforts.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical coordination within the ICI or infrastructure sectors.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and low-voltage installations.
  • Experience working with construction drawings, AutoCAD, and project management documentation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team.
