About the role

  • Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Development, this position will participate in supporting all transaction phases, including sourcing and pipeline development, negotiation, due diligence, and integration.
  • The position will be located at Alarm.com's headquarters in Tysons, Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the corporate development strategy by working with leadership on all transaction phases
  • Support stakeholders across the organization to ensure acquisitions are seamlessly integrated
  • Interpret, translate, and build financial and operating intelligence models to assist with evaluation of target companies and/or integration into Alarm.com FP&A models
  • Provide continuous research on industry trends and shifts that might impact the overall global growth strategy and perform ad hoc analyses, as needed

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate for this position will exhibit strong critical thinking skills and an in-depth knowledge of financial modeling.
  • and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • 1-3 years of experience in business or financial analysis

Nice to have

  • A completed bachelor's Degree is required.
  • A concentration in Finance or Business Management is preferred
  • Experience with SaaS-driven technology businesses is a plus

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and deals concurrently
  • Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth, global company
  • Data-driven and goal-oriented, with experience measuring and reporting both quantitatively and qualitatively
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Compensation

  • $78,950 - $118,750 USD
  • The base salary range of this opportunity is listed below and is determined within a range based on factors including qualifications, location and experience.
  • The base salary offered is part of a total compensation package.
