About the role

Responsibilities
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively deliver projects on time.
- Working knowledge of Lean principles, with the ability to coach and develop others.
- include design, development, optimize, and troubleshoot manufacturing and support processes to meet safety and performance standards.
- Maintain organized documentation so information is easy to retrieve.
- Lead projects and/or support the Project Engineering team.
- Provide functional leadership and creative direction in the design, development, and optimization of high-speed converting equipment to meet unit objectives.
- Develop others within your areas of expertise.
- Design, develop, optimize, and improve manufacturing and support processes to achieve unit objectives.
- Support loss control improvement by following critical safety rules, maintaining a safe workplace, and complying with all safety procedures.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Pulp & Paper from an accredited college or university.
- 8+ years of experience across technical or operational roles.
- Strong proficiency with manufacturing analysis tools, including statistical process control, design of experiments, process capability studies, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing.
- Experience collaborating with external technical service provider.
Compensation
- 105,740 - 130,620 USD
