About the role

  • Performing preventative maintenance on various capital machines including saws, CNC's, press brakes, punches and folders.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain excellent organizational and 5S standards for maintenance.
  • Manage relationships with external machine representatives and service providers.
  • Sourcing parts, supplies and services as needed to maintain and repair all shop equipment, power and hand tools.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing environment is required
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals and specifications.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. - no sponsorship available
  • Qualifications
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Able to work independently and be accountable for schedules and work performed.

Nice to have

  • 3 to 5 axis aluminum extrusion fabrication CNCs
  • Plate aluminum and steel shearing, punching and folding machines
  • Silicone application pumps
  • Lifting equipment (forklifts, walkies, overhead cranes)
  • Experience with the following equipment is preferred:

Skills

  • Report to management on misuse of tools and other company property.
  • Strong trouble-shooting skills and experience repairing most of the following: CNC press brakes, punches and folders.
  • Manual dexterity and skilled use of power and hand tools.
  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft applications and similar)
