About the role

Form Energy is hiring a Senior Test Engineer to join our Systems Test organization.
In this role, you will be a key contributor to the deployment, execution, and data validation of major, multi-pack integrated test assets.
These systems serve as the cornerstone of our validation strategy, verifying our custom battery management systems (BMS), power electronics, auxiliary subsystems, and overall system integration.

Own the daily operations, test sequencing, and safe execution of validation campaigns on multi-pack integrated test assets.
Write and implement highly detailed, repeatable test procedures that physically validate auxiliary systems, BMS hardware, harnessing, and software/hardware integration points.
Manage daily lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) requirements, verify safety interlock setups, and actively maintain 5S standards within the high-energy laboratory environment.
Experience running, editing, or building test scripts and analysis scripts within common test environments (Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar data-acquisition suites).
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment where hardware and software designs are rapidly iterating.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
5+ years of hands-on experience in systems test, hardware validation, or laboratory test integration (highly valued within battery, EV, aerospace, grid-scale storage, or heavy industrial sectors).
