- In this role, you will play a key part in supporting monthly corporate accounting activities and maintaining the integrity of our general ledger processes.
- You'll work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to financial reporting accuracy and ongoing operational improvement.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries to support timely and accurate general ledger close processes.
- Perform monthly G/L account reconciliations and ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Support preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting and internal analysis for Corporate functions.
- Respond to ad hoc queries and provide analysis to support financial reporting and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and find opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and reporting timelines.
- Provide hands on assistance to the internal and external auditors, including the collection and analysis of financial information and supporting documents requested by the auditors.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Requirements
- University degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with systems such as Oracle Financials, Hyperion, SmartView, or Essbase is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control principles.
- Flexibility required, including occasional overtime during peak periods.
- Final candidates for this position may be required to undergo a security screening, including a criminal records check.
