In this role, you will play a key part in supporting monthly corporate accounting activities and maintaining the integrity of our general ledger processes.
You'll work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to financial reporting accuracy and ongoing operational improvement.

Prepare and post monthly journal entries to support timely and accurate general ledger close processes.
Perform monthly G/L account reconciliations and ensure completeness and accuracy.
Support preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting and internal analysis for Corporate functions.
Respond to ad hoc queries and provide analysis to support financial reporting and decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and find opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and reporting timelines.
Provide hands on assistance to the internal and external auditors, including the collection and analysis of financial information and supporting documents requested by the auditors.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

University degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field
2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with systems such as Oracle Financials, Hyperion, SmartView, or Essbase is an asset.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control principles.
Flexibility required, including occasional overtime during peak periods.
