About the role
- The Registered Nurse (RN) in the medical clinic provides professional nursing care to patients within a clinic or physician practice setting.
- include assisting physicians during treatments and examinations, administering medications as ordered, and performing therapeutic measures as directed or independently.
- The RN observes, records, and reports symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients while providing education on illness management, disease prevention, and health promotion.
Responsibilities
- Observe, document, and report patients' symptoms, reactions to treatments, progress, and overall condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and other clinical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment to support patient care.
- Follow clinic protocols, policies, and procedures to maintain safety, compliance, and quality standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
- State licensure is required.
Nice to have
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program ( Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).

- Education, Certificates, and License:

- Prior experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is desirable.
