About the role

  • Immerse yourself in our innovative culture!
  • This role requires a commitment of 4-5 days in-office per week at our facility in Garden Grove, CA as well as full-time hours (40 hours a week).
  • 8 weeks for quarter or 15 weeks for semester (January 11 to April 30 OR January 11 to March 12)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and design of manufacturing standards, processes, equipment, and tooling for the complete Powertrain system including the Rotor, Stator and Electric Drive Unit. Ensure these processes meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Support the development and documentation of work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Assist in the design, testing, and validation of new tools and equipment.
  • Support the continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing practices.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in Bachelor's degree program or greater in related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Work authorized in the United States OR ability to obtain J-1/F-1 visa

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation

  • Earn an hourly rate of $25-35 USD per hour

Benefits

  • A $1,000 relocation stipend is available for interns currently residing more than 50 miles from Garden Grove, CA.
