- Inspects and tests tires to ensure conformance to standards.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventative maintenance checks on school division vehicle tires and related components.
- Operates and maintains diagnostic equipment, hand/power tools, tire changing machines, balancing equipment, and other specialized automotive tools and machinery.
- Clean equipment, parts, or tools to repair or maintain them in good working order.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- And they can only deliver on that promise if their equipment is moving in the field.
Requirements
- Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
- Multilimbed Coordination - The ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down.
- Static Strength - The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
- Extent Flexibility - The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
