About the role

You'll report directly to the Managing Attorney and play a hands-on role in case strategy, client advocacy, legal representation, and case management.
This is not a passive, advisory-only role.
You'll be actively managing cases, preparing filings, representing clients before government agencies and immigration courts when needed, and guiding clients through complex immigration processes.

Handle appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals and other relevant courts, building strong, well-supported legal arguments
Collaborate with internal teams by providing guidance on case strategy and supporting client-related inquiries
We work with clients across the U.S. and around the world - in English and Spanish - helping families reunite, seek safety, and build a brighter future.

Confident in legal advocacy, with the ability to represent and advise clients effectively in a variety of settings
Candidates should have the ability to communicate effectively, including speaking and hearing, as well as using their hands for tasks such as typing or handling materials.
Limited lifting may also be required.
At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
Experience in the legal services industry.
Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
Experience in US Immigration Law, including family-based and humanitarian-based petitions, or removal proceedings.
Proficient with learning and troubleshooting new technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Google Suite or related software.
