About the role
- An Associate is expected to identify key industry and product trends and to leverage junior resources to produce pitch and deal materials to enhance the ultimate deliverable to our clients.
- Associates will assume a senior role within a multifunctional team that is responsible for a wide variety of projects, some of which include:
- Participate in client meetings and business development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics and a minimum of 3 years of investment banking, corporate finance and capital markets experience with a top tier global bank
- experience with banking transaction related to the Power & Utilities industry is mandatory
- Knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets and risk & pricing analysis
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas
- Ability to work independently and must be able to work effectively in a team environment
- Advanced proficiency with FactSet, CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Microsoft Office
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Extremely deep understanding of the Power & Utilities industry; experience with banking transaction related to the Power & Utilities industry is mandatory
- Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative ideas and/or product solutions
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Maturity and good judgement in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Creativity and intellectual curiosity

Compensation
- The expected base salary ranges from $175K - $225k.
