About the role

  • They act as a trusted advisor to both business and technical teams, facilitating clear communication and understanding to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Ultimately, this role is pivotal in enabling data-driven decision-making and fostering continuous improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.
  • Support the development and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) plans to validate that solutions meet business needs.
  • This position is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders across various departments to identify opportunities for improvement and to develop strategic solutions that drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related role within a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation techniques.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.

Nice to have

  • Professional certification such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA or Confluence.
  • Background in data analysis and proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards relevant to the organization.
  • Advanced skills in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
