About the role

  • You will follow established community protocols, licensing regulations, and individualized care plans to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Document resident status changes, including physical changes, medication reactions, and psychosocial changes.
  • Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions in English.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or willingness to learn within 90 days of employment for documentation purposes.
  • Ability to transport residents via wheelchair, Geri chair, or shower chair, pushing up to 150 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to transfer, lift, turn, and position a resident weighing up to 125 pounds unassisted, or with assistance for residents over 125 pounds.
  • Ability to stop, bend, stretch, squat, stand, and walk for up to 90% of the workday.
  • Ability to reach up to six feet and push a dietary cart weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Nice to have

  • Prior geriatric nursing aide experience preferred.
